Tiny Tea Shop, former Sundowner cottage, Cheddar Gorge
This tiny tea shop is the gorge's only remaining example of a Sundowner cottage. These were buildings with 4 walls and a roof, constructed entirely between dusk and dawn in one evening. If accomplished, complete with smoke from the chimney at dawn, the builder was allowed to live rent free on the land.
SH7557 : Ty Hyll in Snowdonia is another example.
