St Michael's Church, Baddiley: west face
The grade-I-listed church dates from 1308, and is one of the very few remaining timber-framed churches in England. This view shows the west end of the nave, which was encased in brick in 1811, with a louvred bell turret and brick pilasters flanking the entrance porch. A view of the south face and chancel is shown in SJ6050 : St Michael's Church, Baddiley. Baddiley Hall is visible on the right. For more information, see Link
