Trees on field boundary, near Baddiley Lodge
Old hedge with a couple of mature deciduous trees between two pasture fields. The hedge has been neglected resulting in large gaps between the bushes, which a farmer (tractor; right) was repairing at this visit. The pasture in the foreground is usually used for cattle, according to notices warning of bulls on the public footpath; that beyond the hedge is usually used for sheep. The woodland of Baddiley Gorse is just visible (far right). View from the public footpath from Halls Lane Bridge
