Tree trunk taken over by ivy
Tree trunk taken over by ivy
This remarkable tree stands on a field boundary on Ffridd Bwlch-lluan.
Ivy has grown between the stem sections of the original chopped-off tree. Its own twisty stems can be seen in the centre. The dark green ivy leaves stand out in early spring as all the other trees around are still bare.
Thanks to Penny Mayes for identifying the ivy.
