Approaching eclipse near Nare Head
Approaching eclipse near Nare Head
This photo was taken on 11th August 1999, about half an hour before the total eclipse. Already the light is silvery and subdued. You can see a crowd of people on the headland, waiting for the eclipse. View is looking SW towards Nare Head, the Roseland Peninsula is across the bay.
