Fallen beech in the Ocknell Inclosure, New Forest
Fallen beech in the Ocknell Inclosure, New Forest
This fallen beech is next to the path through the middle of Ocknell Inclosure, just west of the footbridge over the western feeder stream of Highland Water. Parts of the tree are still alive, although it must have been horizontal for at least 12 years (going by the earliest graffiti - names and dates - carved into the trunk).
