Mere in woodland, near Baddiley
A small area of deciduous woodland south east of New Dairy House Farm contains several ponds/meres. This view southwards near the north-east corner from the public footpath from Halls Lane Bridge was taken in early spring, just as the leaf buds were beginning to appear. Bracket fungus can be seen on one of the trees (right)
