Track towards woodland, Ruabon Mountain

The grassy track from Panorama Walk emerges from the edge of Eglwyseg Plantation into open moorland with low summits (430 and 440 metres) to the west (left). To the east is a relatively flat area of rough pasture with a high point of 451 metres. The pine trees (centre) are all that remains of the woodland at the north edge of the gridsquare. In the distance is Cyrn-y-Brain capped by its two transmitter masts (left), while in the centre the rounded crags of Eglwyseg Edge are just coming into sight
