Saner Street, Hull
Looking north-northwest from No.49 towards the corner of Ena Street. The spire above the rooftops is St Matthew's Church
Link on the corner of Anlaby Road and Boulevard. The building on the right was originally Saner Street School, built on the site of John Saner's brickworks and opened in 1913 when it accommodated 280 juniors and 280 infants. The school closed in 1941 and was used more recently by St Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic School. Since 1988 it has been home to Centre 88, an independent charitable trust providing office space for voluntary organisations in Hull.
