Anlaby Road, Hull
Shop fronts at Nos.106-124 on the north side of Anlaby Road, looking west-northwest from Park Street. There was once a row of Victorian houses here called Elm Tree Terrace, built in around 1860 and destroyed by bombing during World War Two. Elm Tree Terrace was by all accounts a very desirable address. The showrooms and garages which replaced these houses were built in the early 1950s.
