A view looking up one of the support cables with lightning conductor strip clearly visible. The transmitter serves 41,000 homes from as far away as north Arran, Loch Fyne and Stirlingshire. Rosneath is a relay of Darvel transmitter in East Ayrshire and is 107 metres high.
