Walsall MBC's slash and burn policy continues apace. This photo was taken in Goscote Lodge Crescent Oct 2008; all you will see now is grass fields surrounded by fencing. This demolition is part of WMBC 'regeneration'. Unfortunately the economic climate, funding and house prices in general mean that all future housebuilding has come to an abrupt halt, this at a time when the need for council and social housing has never been higher.
