St Mary's Church and Elton Hall
St Mary's Church and Elton Hall
St Mary's Church dates from the 12th century with 13th century alterations, restored in 1876. It is grade II listed - for listing particulars, see LinkExternal link.

Behind is Elton Hall, also grade II listed, dating originally from the 17th century or earlier, but partly rebuilt and refronted in the mid 18th century and restored in the late 20th century. This later work also involved a totally redesigned garden, fitting for a house previously occupied by Thomas Andrew Knight (1759-1838), who was one of the founder members and later president of the Royal Horticultural Society. For listing particulars of the house, see LinkExternal link.
