SD8596 : Piles of stones on Stony Edge

taken 18 years ago, 4 km NE of Cotterdale, North Yorkshire, England

Piles of stones on Stony Edge.
Piles of stones on Stony Edge.
Looking NW towards Great Shunner. The first time I visited this place, some years ago, these stones were arranged into curricks. There were fifty to sixty of them in a variety of shapes and sizes in this area. The very next time I visited, a couple of years later, this was the result.
