Culross: The Palace and gardens
The "Palace" is a 16th century house built by Sir George Bruce who made his fortune from salt panning and coal mining. Now under the care of the National Trust for Scotland, the house is noted for its internal painted walls and ceilings. The Palace Garden has been reconstructed as it would have been in the early 17th century.
