Nottingham Express Transit trams Nos. 204 & 212 at Old Market Square

The tram on the left No. 204 is approaching the Old Market Square tram stop. It is going to Station Street. The one on the right No. 212 is at the tram stop and is bound for Hucknall. In the background can be seen the imposing Nottingham Council House, dating from 1929. On the left can be glimpsed part of the gigantic wheel known as Nottingham Eye. Its presence is temporary, which some might say is a good thing as it totally overshadows the Council House.
