SS7249 : Rainbow over West Lyn River
near to Lynmouth, Devon, Great Britain

Rainbow over West Lyn River
The West Lyn River is seen here just before it reaches its confluence with the East Lyn River, for their briefly joined route to the sea. The rainbow seen here is caused by sunlight catching in the spray from the water jets that can be fired across the river here. One of these jets can be seen top right. (see SS7249 : Glen Lyn Gorge Rainbow for more information).
