Repaired footbridge over Arkle Beck
Repaired footbridge over Arkle Beck
In 2008 a flood on the Arkle Beck brought a tree crashing into this bridge damaging several of the stanchions and rails. After a lengthy closure, repairs were carried out with new rails and stanchions, and the bridge was ready for use by early 2009. The sturdy single beam bridge withstood the impact and suffered only light damage.
