SD9716 : The Eyes of Blackstone Edge
3 km from Littleborough, Rochdale, Great Britain

The Eyes of Blackstone Edge
Two hollows right by the trig pillar at the summit of Blackstone Edge. They're about 50cm in diameter and look just like the ones sometimes found at the seaside by pebbles whizzing round and round under the action of the tide. Are these formed in a similar way?
