SU1329 : Bridge over mill leat
near to Harnham, Wiltshire, Great Britain

Bridge over mill leat
This little bridge allows access between the two sides of SU1329 : Old Mill beer garden and mill leat. Beneath the bridge can be seen the three arches allowing water from the leat to flow under the mill which formerly powered its wheels. The chains are probably to prevent larger driftwood and other debris from flowing in - or perhaps to discourage canoeists or other human entry.
