Converted to an Architects offices. Horsmonden Church to right, situated a few miles from the village.

Oast Houses
An Oast House is a building used to dry fresh hops before they are sent to the brewers, to be used for flavouring beer. A traditional Oast House consists of the 'oast' and the 'stowage'. The oast was a kiln, with a plenum chamber fired by charcoal at ground floor and the drying floor directly above. The steep pitched roof channelled the hot air through the hops to the top. Four round kilned oast house. Three roundels in a V shape around stowage, and additional fourth kiln added to side. Used as offices.

St Margarets church, Horsmonden
Grade I listed.
Early 14th C. church, extended 15th C. and restored in 19th. It has a fine tower of sandstone, some 70 feet high. The arch to the tower is very tall. Perpendicular west door with arms of Poynings and Fitzpaine (married in 1380).
The church contains some good basalt slabs and a 14th C brass to Henry de Grofhurst.
