Pony at Scabbacombe Sands

A white shetland pony grazing above the sands. A herd of Shetland and Dartmoor ponies are kept along the coastal area at Scabbacombe ("The National Trust manages this site using wild ponies to keep down the scrub and consequently encourage maritime plants and butterflies. Link ); they were spending this day close to the most populous part of their patch, as the beach, though requiring a walk, is well-frequented on sunny weekends.
