SE1086 : Coverham Abbey

taken 12 years ago, near to Coverham, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Coverham Abbey
Coverham Abbey
Founded in 1212 by Radolphus. These ancient ruins seem to form an integral part of a later building, also according to the map called Coverham Abbey. I am not sure whether this is a private dwelling or a small monastery.
