NN4117 : River Larig
3 km from Inverlochlarig, Stirling, Great Britain

River Larig
The River Larig meanders here in its flat-bottomed glaciated valley, fed by side streams. "Tide marks" of human activities abound, for example across the valley there are some stone walls which may signify the existence of a former croft.
Also quite fascinating are the "tide marks" of glaciers of differing antiquity. Perhaps the boulder in the foreground was brought here by a glacier.
