NN4117 : River Larig, looking upstream
3 km from Inverlochlarig, Stirling, Great Britain

River Larig, looking upstream
Again the valley bottom is very flat and nearly level. On the right is a mound of debris which probably formed when the valley had an active glacier. In the distance there are mounds which probably originated as a lateral moraine.
Notice the fence which has had extra height added to keep deer out of the meadow.
The stone track has been built since my old map was published in the late 70's. Both sides of the valley are used for deer stalking.
