SH6528 : View from the western slope of Rhinog Fawr
near to Rhinog Fawr [hill or Mountain], Gwynedd, Great Britain

View from the western slope of Rhinog Fawr
This view presents itself from a minor cairn on the west side of Rhinog Fawr, about 100m below the summit. The marshy lake below is Gloywlyn, separated from lower ground beyond by the rocky knoll of Carreg-y-Saeth. Beyond that, the Dwyryd estuary can be seen, and the Nantlle ridge, Moel Hebog and the Snowdon massif even further afield.
