Southern edge of Rhinog Fawr's summit plateau
The south side of the mountain is almost as steep as the north side, although it is more broken up into steps and ledges. Bwlch Drws Ardudwy lies far below. On the other side, Rhinog Fach and y Llethr. Llyn Cwmhosan nestles on the western (right) slope of Rhinog Fach, about two thirds down. The Cadair Idris ridge (17km away, in SH7113) pokes up behind Rhinog Fach's summit.
