The top lake – Melton Country Park
Part of the flood control system constructed in 1989-1990, the lakes form the centre piece of the Country Park. This small upstream lake at the northern end of the park is bounded on the east side by the old Melton to Scalford railway line. The square boundary between the featured square and the photographer's square runs just beyond the weir.
