Parish Church of St Mary, Tarrant Crawford (interior)

Maintained by the Churches Conservation Trust, this is a completely unspoiled example of a medieval church dating from the C12 and C13, and retaining many of its original features. The walls are covered with the now faded colours of early C14 paintings that includes a Crucifixion scene. There are also fragments of C15 stained glass, and above is a C16 wagon roof with arched braced trusses.
