The Golden Lion, Regent Street
The Golden Lion, Regent Street
Until its closure in the 1980s this was the oldest pub in the new town. It had a splendid leaded and stained glass frontage. Unusually for modern times the pub has subsequently been converted into a bank, rather than vice-versa, however the general style of the frontage has been kept.
