Looking down the northwestern slope of Rhinog Fawr towards Gloywlyn. The characteristic 'thumb' appendage of the lake can be seen opposite. Immediately beyond the lake is the minor summit of Carreg-y-Saeth. Tremadog Bay lies beyond the foothills, with the Nantlle ridge on the horizon.
