Two gravestones. The one on the right bears the inscription "Douglas Haig born in Edinburgh 19th June 1861: Departed out of this world Sunday Jan. 29th 1928. The stone on the left indicates that it is the last resting place of "Dorothy Maud his wife born 9th July 1879 died 17th October 1939". Two simple descriptions for Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig of Bemersyde, KT, GCB, OM, GCVO, KCIE, ADC and his wife, Lady Dorothy Maud Vivian Haig.
