NN4117 : Unusual flowers
3 km from Inverlochlarig, Stirling, Great Britain

Unusual flowers
Not rare but extremely unusual in this locality are these gorse flowers on a small bush by the burn. The bigger bushes had no flowers. I can't understand why gorse was growing here but nowhere else in the locality. There was an old sheep pen nearby so perhaps there had been a croft in Ishag Glen and gorse was planted for winter fodder for cattle.
