Clarke House, St. Laurence Street, Drogheda
Clarke House is built on the site of Mr Clarke's Free School, part of Drogheda Grammar School dating from c. 1740 and demolished on 23rd July 1989 O0975 : Mr. Clarke's Free School, Laurence St., Drogheda. Now the home of Drogheda Credit Union. On the left, the line of Freeschool Lane has been retained, after a fashion, and gives pedestrian access to the St. Laurence Town Centre.
