SH6729 : Pistyll Gwyn

5 km from Bronaber, Gwynedd, Great Britain

Pistyll Gwyn
Pistyll Gwyn
A grand name ('white spout'), and loads of signs lead to this little trickle of a waterfall. To be fair, it had been largely dry for over a week, so the lack of water in the Nant Llyn-du is perhaps not so surprising. The mixed woodland beyond belongs to Graigddu forest, but hasn't been replanted with monoculture when the latest crop of conifers was harvested.
