Gates to Plas Llanrhydd
Gates to Plas Llanrhydd
The gates to Plas Llanrhydd, with the lodge on the left. The hall was built in 1620. Stanley John Weyman moved to the hall in 1895; today he is a forgotten literary giant of the late 19th century, who wrote best-selling historical romances. He is buried in St Meugan's cemetery across the road from the hall. SJ1357 : Eglwys Llanrhydd
