SJ3389 : "Ferry, Cross the Mersey"

taken 16 years ago, near to Birkenhead, Wirral, Great Britain

"Ferry, Cross the Mersey"
"Ferry, Cross the Mersey"
On the "Woodchurch" as it approaches Liverpool, across the Mersey, from Birkenhead. This is a slower route than the Mersey Road or Rail Tunnels but offers regular journeys - and better views! Ahead of the ferry are Liverpool's "Three Graces" - The Royal Liver, Cunard and Port of Liverpool Authority Buildings.
