Esther Carling House, Peppard Hospital
Named after Dr. Esther Carling who investigated tuberculosis and practised at this hospital before and possibly after the second world war. The building in the photo became staff quarters for both Peppard and Borocourt Hospital until it was demolished when an estate of detached houses was built in the 1990s.
