A road now runs halfway along the combined loch. This section was "dry" land between the two lochs in Glen Daimh before the dam. The raising of the water level by the Giorra Dam for electricity generation amalgamated Loch Giorra and Loch an Daimh as well as the estate buildings and farm at Lochs.
