Cutt Mill appears to be an early C19 rebuild of an earlier building, and is grade II listed. Since its almost total destruction in 2003 in an arson attack, the mill's future is somewhat in doubt. With an estimated cost of £400,000 to rebuild, and with few buyers coming forward, another winter without a roof may well finish it off entirely as a viable restoration project.
