Granville Street, Hull
Looking north from outside No.23 Arthur Street, with No.59 Granville Street on the near right. Plans for Granville Street had been laid out by about 1874 and most of the houses were completed and occupied by the 1881 Census. The street was named after George, Second Earle Granville, a prominent politician who died in 1891. The terraced houses on Granville Street have been earmarked by the city council for frontage improvement between 2011 and 2014.
