'Otterbank' at Belfast
'Otterbank' at Belfast
The Londonderry port tug 'Otterbank' in the Victoria Channel, Belfast. The tug is plough dredging the channel - here a 4 wide metre plough from the stern "A frame" is towed along the channel bed to loosen silt and level the surface for the suction dredgers also involved in the dredging process. This is one of a number of vessels that are currently involved in a dredging operation there - see LinkExternal link .
