Faint ring markings on boulder
For more details, see the main item: NS2687 : Cup-marked boulder.
This stone is noted as having very faint cup and ring markings on it, apparently consisting of four cups surrounded by double rings, and fourteen other cups without rings.
Cup marks are indeed present, but I found them easier to detect by touch than by sight. As for the double concentric rings, at least two pairs are shown in the photo: one pair is located centrally in the photo, the bottom of the outer ring touching a small white area of lichen. Another pair is at the upper right, the bottom of the inner ring touching a similar small area of lichen (or just take my word for it; it would probably take the low glancing rays of the sun to make these markings clearly evident).
