NG7143 : Allt Breugaireachd
near to Applecross, Highland, Great Britain

Allt Breugaireachd
A scene more reminiscent of the Yorkshire Dales or Peak District than the Highlands! This dry valley is here for pretty much the same reason - there's a band of Jurassic Limestone through which the stream passes underground. The limestone can also be seen below the road just south of Applecross.
