Fields below the Postman's Path, Little Haldon
Drifts of sheep's sorrel or similar glow in the afternoon sunshine. The path gives a view to the outskirts of Bishopsteignton. The ruins of the Bishop's Palace are down there somewhere: see SX9174 : Bishop's Palace, Bishopsteignton and SX9174 : Site of Medieval Bishop's Palace.
On the far side of the Teign estuary is the inlet where the Arch Brook joins the river: see SX9072.
