Mawddach estuary and bridge
In the foreground are the metal opening spans of the mainly timber Barmouth rail bridge carrying the Cambrian Coast line across the Mawddach estuary. Beyond the bridge is the Ro Wen sand and shingle spit stretching into the estuary. The small building in the sand dunes is the ferry station of the miniature railway which runs from Fairbourne station.
