The 1249 from Barmouth
The 1249 from Barmouth
Provided you can see over the greenery when seated, there is a tremendous view to be had from the bench supported by snakes. Crossing the bridge over the afon Mawddach is the 1249 train from Barmouth, heading for Morfa Mawddach request halt at the other end of the bridge. In the distance, the crag to the left is Tyrrau Mawr (SH6713), behind which is Cadair Idris and to the right is Craig Cwm-llwyd (SH6412). The rocks on the sands are Cerrig-y-gorllwyn.
