Archway Road and The City
Archway Road and The City
Looking from Hornsey Lane, along the A1 as it leads down into Archway. It wends its way through the buildings beyond to Aldersgate Street roughly in the centre of the line of skyscrapers that form the city skyline. 30 St. Mary Axe (the Gherkin) and Tower 42 are clearly identifiable to the left of centre. The three tallest buildings in the centre are apartment blocks at Barbican.
