Summit of Ben Chonzie
In Scotland there is a ridiculous bias towards hills over 3000'. It's rare to meet many folk on the hills around Glen Almond, except here on Ben Chonzie, the only summit to exceed 3000' in Glen Almond range. The ascent is simple from Glen Lednock and more attractive if longer via Glen Turret. Either way it's a good day out, suitable for those just setting out on a hill-walking career. Notice the fence posts. The fence was built in the mid 1980s, it has not lasted.
