Randolph's Leap
Randolph's Leap
After an unsuccessful raid by a party of Cummings on Randolph's castle of Darnaway, a Cumming was fleeing the pursuing Randolphs. He leapt the river at this point, and evaded the pursuers. It is unclear why the spot is named after the pursuing party!
